Canned 10/31/25; drank 4/26/26 @ the Yarchives.

Dark brown / black appearance.

A rough pour yielded a HUGE dark tan head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.

Dark chocolate, mild cream & faint pickle juice notes on the nose.

Thick mouthfeel.

Dark chocolate & fresh earth flavors up front; strong pickle juice notes on the finish.

This wasn't super fresh, but man, the finish was extremely off-putting. Not one I'll seek out again.

Poured coffee-colored in a pint glass in Bridgman. Tan, one-finger head that became a new moon ring, some lacing. Taste is a touch smoky, rich roasted grains. Sweet smell like dark fruit. Light mouthfeel but tongue coating. Easy drinker!

12-oz can, pours dark brown with a full finger of head into a nonic pint glass. Very aromatic, bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts, and a touch of sea breeze and iodine. Malted sweetness up front on the palate, with hop bitterness and more earthy, acrid notes near the finish. Consistent with the style, one of the better Baltic porters I've had.
