Hazy orange in the tulip glass, somewhat opaque, with lighter orange-yellow edges that let a little light pass through. Frothy, sticky foam that laces in delicate arcs around the sides of the glass. Good retention, with a lasting head of foam.
Herbal hop aroma, grapefruit zest, lightly spicy Belgian yeast. Slightly dry, hop forward aroma.
The Amarillo gives it a distinct fruitiness of dried orange peel, and the yeast lends a spicy undercurrent and a dry aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Dry residual bitterness, right on point for the style. Easy to have another, and a good growler candidate.

A - Hazy golden colored beer with a decent head on it that had some nice lace.
S - A lot of skunky belgian yeast notes with some amarillo and a little bit of warrior hops. Really just smells like Peace Frog with belgian yeast added. It's not an improvement.
T - Tastes like Peace Frog with belgian yeast added. Don't really know what else to say to it. Also, not improvement. The yeast makes it harder to drink and less tasty.
M - A little creamy with moderate carbonation.
O - Belgian IPA is a hard style to make taste good, and I don't care tons for this one. Stick with the Peace Frog.

On-tap at Haymarket... Pours a dark honey gold, almost a neon straw color to it, unfiltered murky. A light off white head shows a decent ring and lace... The aroma is too strong and instantly reminds me of hoppy lemon pledge. Yeast, lemon, banana and some floral hops. Too chemical for me... The taste is all yeast, it dominates too much. Some pine and grass hops add to, but can't break up the yeast. A bit tough for me to drink.
To much yeast, and I'd have to pass on this in the future.
