We named this brew in honor of Chicago's historic neighborhood and birthplace of Chess Records. Brewed and dry-hopped with 100% Willamette hops giving this I.P.A. a melon and earthy character and much more subtle nose than its counterparts.

A: Light golden to amber with medium head retention. Off white head.
S: earthy with slight citrus. More of a grassy aroma than grapefruit.
T: Malt forward in the nose and hoppy citrus in the rear. A bit lighter than I would have liked.
M: Bitterness hung around but never really gunked up like I prefer.
D: A good IPA that you could go back to back with because of that lighter body.
