Served in a tumbler at the brewpub.

Can I go five days without a Jack the Ripper reference? Anyway, this stuff pours a hazy straw-gold topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises cinnamon, clove, light black pepper, light wheat, and very light lemon zest. The taste brings in more of the same, with a much stronger contingent of wheat stationing itself throughout. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a nice, tasty little wit, one that somehow doesn't overdo it with the spices and whatnot.

On tap at Haymarket.

Not sure what the previous review was drinking, but this was excellent!

Appearance was cloudy/hazy pale yellow with white head. Not much head, and it didn't stay long.

Smelled of wheat and orange, banana. Citrus and candy.

Taste was excellent! Malty and wheaty, aftertaste was sweet and fruity.

Mouthfeel was a bit fizzy and slightly dry. Overall very smooth.

Overall this drink is a great whit and very drinkable.

On-tap at Haymarket. Served in a 4oz taster glass.

A - This is one of the milkiest beers I've ever seen. Murky yellow-white body, a thin cap of foam, and splotchy lace. Somewhat unappetizing, but not totally off for the style I guess.

S - Coriander, sharp wheat, minimal orange peel. Some vanilla sweetness from the malt emerges as it warms up.

T - Taste has more orange peel, but this feels a bit coriander heavy for my liking. Finishes with copious amounts of bread and yeast.

M - Zesty carbonation, grainy and sludgy body, dry slightly tannic finish.

D - I wish it were less milky - not sure if I got the bottom of the keg or if all of it is served this way. Could use a bit more orange peel and a bit less coriander for my palate. It's a witbier, and a pretty average one at that.

Taste: semi sweet, citrus lemon notes, tangy spiced, yeast bread, smooth at finish. Wheat cracker nose. Pale gold, mostly clear, white refined head and some lace. Medium body
