On-tap at Haymarket. 4oz taster glass.
A - Finger of white foam settels to a thin cap and thicker collar, leaving a moderate amount of splotchy lace behind. Hazy dark orange body.
S - Surprisingly hoppy - this is the first "Belgo" from Haymarket that didnt' smell like straight-up Belgian yeast. Lemons and pine overlay a backdrop of candi sugar, stone fruit malts, and some yeast.
T - Taste is unfortunately more middling. Basically Belgian yeast with some lemon and grapefruit citrus notes, and mild bitterness in the finish. Nothing offensive, just not particularly exciting either.
M - Chewy, medium-full body. No obvious alcohol. Carbonation was medium-low.
D - It's the best "Belgo" I've had at Haymarket, but that ain't saying much. Hopefully they use the hop bill for this one as a departure point for future recipes.

A- hazy yellow/orange body with a white head that quickly disapates
S-can definetly tell it is Belgian. Grassy and lemony
T-alot like it smells but the yeast comes through a little bit more
M-medium body and smooth finish
O-decent belgo ipa. That's about it. Not my style and not very good at that.
