On-tap at Haymarket. Served in a 4oz taster glass.
A - Looks like a wit alright. Not quite as cloudy as White Chapel was, but verging on milk all the same. Finger of white foam settles to a partial cap and collar, leaving spotty lace behind. Body looks like some kind of blend of milk and lemonade - I'll leave it at that.
S - Smell is heavy on the spice, with notes of cardamon, coriander, peppery yeast, and a grainy malt backdrop.
T - The taste is largely yeast and wheat, with thankfully less spice, and a bit of peach flavor on the back end.
M - Gritty and tannic, likely from all the unfiltered wheat (and not peaches as I believe it was extract and not whole fruit). Medium body, pleasant active carbonation, and a dry finish.
D - Reminds me of a less sweet, over-spiced version of Kuhnhenn Peach Panty Dropper. I'd rather have the Kuhnhenn if I was looking for a fruity beer on a hot summer day. Too much spice here for me.
