Our batch #100 aged on Tangerines! It’s big! It’s hoppy! It’s Belgian! It’s perfect for breakfast! One gallon of real juice went into each barrel.

On-tap at Haymarket.
A - Pours a mirky light reddish color, off-white head, thin collar, spotty lace.
S - Right away, the tangerine notes are up front and stick out easily. There's also some other light fruity notes such as strawberry and peaches as well. The fruity and hops work well together with this Belgian IPA.
T - Similar to the nose. Tangerines, juicy fruity hops, peach, some citrus. Really nice and enjoyable and one of my top Belgian IPA's because of the tangerines. Finish is light bitterness and fruits.
M - Light, good carbonation, easy to drink, oily fruity finish.
O - A nice Belgian IPA that I would have again, if available. I had a second pour of this one, I liked it so much. Really good stuff. If you like tangerines, this is your beer.

On-tap at Haymarket. Served in a taster glass.
A - Half-finger of white foam settles to a thin collar, and splotchy lace. Hazy light orange body. Looks pretty similar to Angrier Birds.
S - Phenolic Belgian yeast, alcohol, bread, and a bit of sharp citrus which I presume to be the tangerine juice's contribution.
T - Unless you do an A/B comparison it'd be pretty hard to tell this apart from Angrier Birds, as the tangerine character is quite subtle. The fruit character does come out more as the beer warms up, and it does cut the alcohol a bit, but it's still quite understated.
M - Smooth texture, lower carbonation, medium-full body, and a lightly tannic finish. Better hidden alcohol than the base beer.
D - It's a mild improvement over Angrier Birds, but I could have stood for more tangerine flavor. I think I still prefer the lower ABV Angry Birds the best out of all these variants and would order that if forced to choose.
