This highly sessionable pale is hopped and dry hopped with Saphir hops from Germany. Bright and crisp up front, subtle notes of dried apricot come through with a very smooth finish.

On-tap at Haymarket. Served in a 5oz taster glass.
A - Looks nearly identical to Herkules, but a bit lighter in color.
S - Zesty, herbal hop notes, with a bready malt backdrop. A tad understated and mild in aroma relative to the Herkules, but does grow at tad more zesty and spicy as it warms up.
T - Taste is a bit more balanced, with stone fruit sweetness, pale malts, and low hop flavor. There's some mild hop bitterness that lingers, but this isn't the most expressive hop.
M - Big, chewy, and creamy for only 5%. Medium carbonation, and a dry and mildly resinous finish. Again, no alcohol in these low-ABV brews.
D - Really easy to drink, and definitely European in vibe. I can understand why breweries need to branch out a bit more with ingredient sourcing challenges, but the Sapphire hop doesn't seem all that interesting in this implementation. Still, went down really quick.
