On tap at the brewery taproom.
A reddish-brown, clear body is slightly hazy, unlike the regular version. The coffee also seems to have lessened the head and eliminated the lacing. .
The aroma is not up with the best coffee beers, but still appealing. Less boozy than expected.
The high ABV is partially hidden in the flavor, although it is more apparent than one might hope. Some faint spicy rye flavor comes through despite a moderate addition of coffee to the already flavorful brew.
Light heat from the high ABV.
