Current iteration uses St Augustine datil peppers. Vegetal nose with cocoa. Good heat and pepper flavor throughout, building slightly; potent but never overpowering.
Chocolate notes are a blend of powdery, bitter cocoa and semi-sweet chocolate. The latter starts to take over more as you get into the beer, running a touch thick and sweet after a while. Really damn tasty brew, if a touch rich and sweet at times.
