The beer has a lighter and slightly opaque color, but darker and less carbonated than I'm used to in Pilsners. Civic pride has a fruity, dominantly apple scent. The flavor is a bit sweet with more bitter than I'm used to in Pilsners. In my opinion, its a great beer, but not a great pilsner. I'd say it's about as good as the Jacksonville Jaguars; It's definitely a decent beer, but would never win any awards.
