Very very tasty beer. Was introduced to it an a whim. A local realestate owner took us from Kickbacks Gastropub in Jacksonville down to the Intuition taproom. He said we had to have the Rail Spur, and he was right. One of my favorites right behind Sweetwater IPA!

single finger head on an amber and crimson body. Aroma and flavor are both very similar. Pine and orange peel in both. The flavor has more of a spicey/peppery finish which you dont get in the aroma. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Overall a fairly drinkable DIPA, mostly due to the citrus flavors mellowing out the booze. On of their better IPAs.

Poured on-tap at the brewery in JAX, the beer was served in a pint glass. The beer is a bright, burnt orange color with a thin film of off-white head. Good lacing along the glass while you are drinking. The aromas are a balanced blend of lemon and orange citrus, with subtle hop characteristics, as well. Smooth mid-bodied beer. Taste is citrus flavors initially, with hops and peppery notes sneaking in at the end. There is an increased carbonation to the beer that keeps all the flavors light and easy to drink. The beer has a quick finish, with a bitter hops aftertaste, and some grapefruit flavors, too. Very crisp at the end. A little light bodied for the style, but very tasty!

Just recently tapped and this os good. Nicely balanced. Aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, citrus peel and pine needles. At 95 IBU you can feel the power of the hops. It's good to have a good local DIPA to look forward to. I'm looking foward to many more beer liek this from Intution.
