Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a

Appearance: The thick, light tan, two finger head stays around for a while and leaves behind a lot of patchy lacing all over the glass. It's a clear amber color.

Smell: It's an interesting but faint aroma. There's sweet malt and honey followed by a flowery hop note and it ends with a whiff of white pepper.

Taste: It's a sweet, grainy flavor of honey and bread with a pleasant, slightly floral aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: It's quite light and refreshing with medium low carbonation.

Overall: A good, run of the mill Märzen with a typical aroma and flavor profiles.

A - Pours with one finger of off white foam on top of a fairly clear, orange-brown body. The head fades slowly and leaves nice lace.

S - A toasty malt aroma with some spicy, continental hops.

T - Smooth malt up front with some spicy hops and toasted grain. Some more toast and even a hint of caramel in the middle. It finishes with smooth caramel malt, herbal hop flavor, and moderate bitterness.

M - A medium-thick body, moderate carbonation, and a slightly sweet finish.

D - Quite nicely done, it is fairly dark and hoppy for the style, but not out of the expected range and quite smooth for such a robust octoberfest.

A: single finger thick head. Nice lacing. Thin rim left around the edges. Amber and clear.

S: mild malt and lager yeast aroma. Not much on the nose.

T: a fairly hoppy oktoberfest with caramel malt and a subtle spiciness. The hop flavor is robust but along the lines of a musty and spiciness.

M: medium body and moderate carbonation.

Overall: a nice oktoberfest. The amount of hops keep this one from being too watery like other oktoberfests I have had.
