A - Pours with one finger of light tan head on a dark brown body.
S - nutty coffee with some caramel and chocolate.
T - chocolate malt up front with some caramel and brown sugar in the middle. Finishes with more mocha and caramel as well as a touch of hop bitterness.
M - medium body, moderate carbonation, and a slightly sweet finish.
D - a really nice porter. Lots of chocolate with enough sugary malt to balance.

A: thin head, solid lace circumferentially. Black with a small amount of light getting through
S: smokey but not overwhelming. Roasted malts and light hops
T: the degree of carbonation overwhelms the taste buds at first. Initial flavors include oats and chocolate with transition to smokey and roasted malt.
M: medium to full body with Moderate to high carbonation. Wet finish.
Overall: not a very complex seeming beer. Very drinkable for a porter though a little too heavily carbonation for my liking.
