Quarter finger head with little retention on a hazy, golden body. Dank and musty aroma with fresh corn, French cheese, grain and fireplace mustiness. Flavor unfortunately follows this. It's very musty with a tart and bitter quality. That fireplace quality remains as well. The apricot actually still shows up well but it's overwhelmed by some flavors which turn you off to this one. Light body and moderate to high carbonation. I wouldn't have this one again. You can't always make the perfect Belgian style brew. I understand this was a home brew club winner. Not for me I guess.
