Drinking this at home due to the ongoing pandemic and the fact that I can't get a proper pint any where.
Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Appears dark, dark brown with a foamy head that dropped quickly and no lacing.
Smells chocolatey, malty, floral.
Taste follows the nose abd definitely malt chocolate forward.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall very good for the style and I hope to get one of these on tap in the not too distant future.

I'm trying this at Buffalo Wings and Rings in Franklin, TN. It poured a nearly opaque dark amber with off white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of sweet bread. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good beer.

12 oz can of 5.2% ABV "Brown Ale". Canned near the end of April, 2016, if I am reading the coding (117-16) correctly.
Clear but very dark reddish brown body with a small but decent head
Aroma: Dark and medium roasted grains; toffee; over-ripe dark fruits and too much dank/earthy hops.
Flavor: nicely balanced in terms of hops/malts; malt mix, and bitter/sweet. Very good, lingering aftertaste dominated by dark roasted grains.
Overall: rich and excellent for style.
