Overall a solid IIPA however I feel people use the word "hazy" loosely nowadays cause nothing about this one was what i'd consider to be a hazy iipa. Again its a great imperial, just not hazy by any means

12 oz can at the 2019 Dublin Irish Festival.
Pours with a murky, dark amber-brown body with a good white head.
Pleasing aroma and flavor with moderate bitterness and strength for style and partially hidden alcohol.
Medium-full body with medium carbonation.

16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 4.29. No identifiable canning date. Served in a Variant teku. Enjoyed 11/29/18.
Pours an opaque, dense, deep orange with a tall cap of near-white head. The generous initial retention dies down to a tiny, broken bsnd. A few trails of lace linger where the head had rested.
Smells of citrus peel, flower petals, pith and caramel.
The flavor is more bitter than expected for the style but still pretty juicy. Fruit skins, pineapple rind, grapefruit, grassy hay, vague stone fruit and a strange grainy, almost Brett-like character.
Medium full body with moderate carbonation. The mildly bitter aftertaste has notes of stone fruit and citrus.
Catawba has a pretty good IPA here but it doesn’t quite meet expectations for the NE style, assuming that’s what the reference to haze is about. Drum Circle Haze hides its abv well and straddles the line between juicy and bitter fairly well.
