Nice apa. Second brew from catawba. Neither were bad. This one is earthy. Can definitely tell multiple hops are present. Not bad. Wouldn't get again but dont regret.

Pours clear, gold with a redis hue in color
AROMA: Subtle scents in all areas. Splashes of pine, citrus. Cold earth.
TASTE: Mildly sour hops of orange and pine.
This Pale Ale has low carbonation, flat.
Not a fan, medicore at best.

12 oz. can poured into IPA glass
Rich golden body is lightly hazy, nice white head lasts respectably. Lacing around glass a bit.
Beautiful fresh hop aromas fullness in the malt bill, very inviting and clean mountainy breeze freshness.
Tastes follows nose, just barely mildly sweet detection, with hops presenting a clean balance, edge and goodness.
Love it.
Feel is right on the money, layers mist reappear on the surface after each tip of the glass...A fine pale ale for sure!
Overall, this is my July pick for a summer smashing pale ale, and at 5%, clean and tight....heck yeah , mother truckers!

I'm trying this at my Bestie's in Charlotte. It poured a clear copper with white head that is not leaving a lace. The scent had hints of hop. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Avoid this beer. I always try to drink something new and local, but sometimes you find a hard miss. I honestly am not sure why they chose to package this brew and put their name on it, as they make other much better brews. The name is accurate as it tastes like it spent far too long in the back of the truck. I couldn't finish it.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is mild hops. The taste is a great sesdion hop flavored pale ale

BOD 215/16. World class head volume, good retention and quite outstanding lacing. Pours a clear golden with a healthy dose of amber that produces a copper hue.
Very good nose that is slightly sweet with pear and pineapple fragrances coupled with a bit orange. The base sweetness is more bready than biscuit. Caramel notes are present, but subtle.
The body is light but approaches light medium. The texture is smooth and is slightly slick. The carbonation body balance is world class. The middle provides a lively effervescent burst to open up the flavor profile. The finish is finely bubbled and prickly.
The flavor profile is good. Intensity is adequate, balance is very good but complexity is lacking and falls short of the promise that the nose provided. Bitterness is mild and is mostly herbal in nature but does have a touch of zest from the finish on. Mid-palate sweetness is very well balanced and is mostly biscuit in nature. Caramel is almost nonexistent but does become discernible before the finish. The predominate malt influence is the nutty biscuit character. Herbal hop flavor tends to dominate. The slightly sweet middle does allow pear to emerge with a touch of pineapple. The finish lingers with a distinct herbal note.
