Appearance: orange in color with a short 1/4" head that falls to a spotty surface covering.

Smell: a light amount of orange and a hint of earthiness creates a mild aroma.

Taste: caramel, orange, and an earthy bitterness make up a mildly flavored pale ale.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, less crisp at the finish.

Overall: a so-so beer, nothing to overly excite you here. Just an easy to drink mild pale ale.

22 oz bottle.
Looks good, with a deep, clear amber body topped by a large and durable off-white head. Patterned, sticky lacing gets left on the glass.
Aroma: I realize this is made with American hops, but the hoppy aroma is earthy and dank, suggesting European hops, albeit with a distinct fruity note.
Flavor: piney and grassy with faint citrus.
Feel: prickly medium carbonation with medium+ body.

Surprised to find at a convince store on tap in Birmingham Alabama. Love the malt and hop balance. True to pale ale style though with nice dry finish with out any pucker.
Hot day and is nice beer after cutting the grass.

Pours a copper/golden color with a small bar pour white head. Leaves some decent lace behind.

Aroma is light caramel malts with light fruity hop notes.

Taste is caramel malts lightly toasted, with good fruity notes lots if pear Belgian like notes even though is it a Belgian IPA kind of has that kick to it. Hops are fruity then lots of lingering herbal notes, decent hop kick for a pale ale.

Mouthfeel is light side of medium with medium level of CO2.

Overall not a bad tasting brew blind try on server recommend other wise probably of had it.

On draft at Carolina Ale House, Charlotte, NC.

Poured a medium copper hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and very good lacing.

The smell featured a soft citrus hop and light caramel.

The taste tipped toward the hop side with a solid caramel malt supporting the spicy pine and citrus notes.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side if the style.

Overall a tasty hop driven pale ale.

Had this on tap at Mellow Mushroom in Hickory, pours an effervescent golden honey with a 1 finger of of ivory colored head. Above average lacing & average head retention

Herbal & piney hops, plus some biscuitty malt

Herbal & piney hops front and center along with biscuitty malt & caramel, Pineyness dominates as this warms along with a little lemon & dryness. Finishes crisp, slighlty sweet & with a touch pear. Perhaps a bit too hoppy for the style, but I still liked it

MF: Medium bodied, smooth carbonation & great balance

This drank so easy, a nice offering from these guys

Served in a pint glass at Mac's Speedshop.

The beer is a hazy dark straw color with an off-white head that is full of very compact bubbles. The head sticks around through the entire drink, and leaves some lacing around the glass. Smell is an earthy hop with some light notes of citrus. The dirty hop aroma is balanced with a little bit of an uncooked dough smell that isn't all that pleasant. The taste is fairly thin, but I get a decent little punch of grassy/slight pine hops with a doughy breadiness on the back end. There isn't a real level of depth to the brew. Perfectly quaffable, but not something that stands out as a beer I would need to revisit. The mouth is slightly thick for an APA, and the carbonation is a tad aggressive. A decent offering for Catawba Valley who seem to be expanding their line quite a bit.
