Served from tap into a Black & Blue III shaker. Poured a reddish brown with a one finger khaki colored head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, peanuts, raspberry jam, and a hint of breadiness. The flavor was of sweet malt, peanuts, raspberry, sugar, and bread. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. The flavor and aroma both did a good job at simulating the PB&J experience. I really like how they used raspberries to bring out the jelly flavor rather than using artificial flavorings to make it happen as it made it feel a lot more authentic. Definitely worth trying or seeking out if you get the chance or if they make it again. Tick.
