Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottler. Has a hazy chestnut color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dominated by malts. Taste is malts, light pine, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer. As others have said, this is like a high abv. English IPA.

Another totally odd one from Beach Haus. But I enjoyed this caramel malt bomb. I'd call it a Double ENGLISH IPA.
A) Deep, dark amber body, with a head so creamy you'd swear it was nitro, lasting long, and leaving lots of lace. A looker for sure. North sea town.
S) Lacking. Almost entirely churchy malt, butterscotch, not hop.
T) Now abundant but malt bomb, caramel candy apple is the dominant flavor with some hopping around the edges. Imbalanced toward caramel malt.
F) All that thich malt gives this a nice hefty body with just a touch of gleaming, cleansing hop oil to polish your palate.
O) Oddly this looks and feels really good. But I'd not do this often. Not objectionable, just odd and malty

way too malty. lacking any distinctive hop characteristics. overly butterscotch aroma and taste. they should reconsider branding this as an english ipa, but even then... it's no good.
