Orange-gold, peachy pour, the color of puree. Beach Haus scores highest when they exercise subtlety, and this beer is a good example of that. The peach flavor is present but is not overdone. The sweet qualities that come with Vanilla and lactose are also understated. The bitterness of the 4-hop profile gives a potentially oversweet beer a really pleasant balance. Definitely worth a visit.

Pours a wonderful hazy gold with lots of foam and lacing. Smell is pine citrus and peach. Taste is pleasant and smooth with the peach in the background. Low bitterness but you know it’s an IPA. Pretty refreshing.

Beach Haus Brewery "We Were Made For Peach Other"
1 pint can, "PKG DATE: 03/21/2019"
$4.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Look: Muddy golden & orange body beneath an inch and a half of white foam that settles rather quickly. Lacing is limited.
Smell: Hoppy (Simcoe, Nugget, Citra and Azacca) over a sweetish malt base with just a touch of peach thrown in.
Taste: As the aroma suggests it will be but with stronger hop flavors, a lot more peach, and a touch of vanilla. A firm bitterness (it's labeled as 38 IBUs but seems higher) anchors it and dries it in the finish. The lactose lingers at the back of the throat along with the vanilla. At 7.2% ABV the alcohol has a mild presence but never really shows.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp.
Overall: I started out with the wrong mindset on this one believing that it would be more of a "peach beer" - it's not. The peach adds a pleasant addition to it, as does the vanilla, but there are still a lot of hop resins floating around as well.
