Flight glass on tap from CBC.
L: Cloudy, Orangey Ambery Gold lol.
S: Rich caramel.
T: Interesting sweetness with a quick strike of hops. Spicy hops almost. Reminds me of Rye beer.
F: Light-Medium, crisp, semi-dry.
O: Meh. Was interesting but not a favorite.

Color is an attractive dark reddish amber, kind of a cross between the traditional dark bock and the golden variety. Plenty of foam and carbonation in the mouth. Fairly substantial mouthfeel with plenty of malt.
Moderately sweet with a little roast grain flavor and lots of caramel. There is a little scratch of hops but this is just 26 IBUs according to the brewery, and even that doesn't make much headway against the honey-tasting malt. Pleasant grainy aroma with that burnt sugar smell.
Quite drinkable but doesn't invite a second glass. Maybe a cold sudsy glass fresh from the tap with something salty would provide what this is lacking. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the Morena brewing operation.
