The Octoberfest is not one of CBC's better efforts. Though the beer looked good upon the pour it quickly lost its one finger off-white head and laced but minimally. The nose was very light and undeveloped of the malt base.
The flavor was also not well developed and the feel almost gave a sense of forced carbonation. All in all though this beer could likely be consumed in some quantity it offers little to pull one toward it. Better to sample one of CBC's darker offerings.
