Part of the 9 beer sampler set
This ale is amber in color, not tan as advertised. Minimal head due to the 4oz glass. Smell is some kind of a faint hoppy smell. The beer has a harsh bitterness that made it hard for me to detect any other subtleties. The alcohol level is high. Not smooth. Of the CBC beers this one could probably be left out.
