Part of a 9 beer sampler, this was one of the rotated or limited offerings.
This ale has an orange hue. Minimal head in the 4oz glass. Not much in the smell. There is a good dose of hop bitterness and flavor, but I had a hard time pointing out the rye flavor. It was not wheaty or grainy. The finish was very dry. I would pass on this one next time.
