This is what I expect in a session IPA. Low malt character, with big hop flavor. Nice bitter grapefruit, and other fruit character that provides great layering to this beer.

Caveat: this is my first "session" IPA review, so...

Pour from tap at CBC Imperial Beach location. Golden with white head. Floral, fruity - mainly tropical aroma. A more tuned nose might pick up some citrus, but I didn't. Flavor opens with a subtle floral hop with a light, light malt note across the palate. A bit of, say meyer lemon citrus? Finishes dry with a citrus pop. I dare say grapefruit notes come in as the beer comes to temp. Paired very well with the ceviche.
