Good adjunct Berliner. Great tropical fruit flavor that tastes very fresh. Tangyness goes well with the base Berliner beer. Good light body and very refreshing.

Hazy yellow beer nearing gold color. Small white head but it just doesn't last.
Smells Sour and of passion fruit. Lively sour fruit scent that is quite close to the scent of pineapple. Sour lemon and citrus wood scents.
Starts out sour and dry. Taste of pine board, quite like sucking on a Popsicle stick. Sour tropical flavor, passion fruit. Tastes like sour pineapple. Tastes as expected, Gose without the salt.
Mouthfeel is light.
Overall it is OK. If you want a sour refreshing ale this is for you.

12oz can - a 'passionfruit kettle sour'. Not sure if they are referring to Coronado Island, or more tropical ones further abroad.
This beer pours a hazy, pale golden straw colour, with three fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and rather fizzy off-white head, which leaves some sparse spotty lace around the glass as it quickly dissipates.
It smells of saltine crackers, tart lemon peel, some generic dark fruitiness, and a bit of weak funky yeast. The taste is gritty and grainy cereal malt, still fairly sour lemon rind, subtly sweet passionfruit, mineral water, and an ephemeral earthy yeastiness.
The carbonation is average in its palate-pleasing frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and actually mostly smooth, with the acrid essences easing off the gas at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, the fruit character wavering, while the tartness keeps on keepin' on.
Overall - well, this is certainly one of the better iterations of the style that I have come across of late, as the sour and frooty elements are duly balanced. Crisp, easy to drink, and pretty refreshing as the sun returns and the ambient temperature rises, in what one hopes will be a proper autumn (snow on green grass or trees is just weird).
