A little bit East Coast, a lotta bit West Coast, and 100% juicy! This hoppy pale ale is fermented with London III yeast for a cloudy, hazy finish. So, grab a floaty and join us in the Leisure Lagoon of happiness.

The latest in Coronado's hop-forward lineup of year-round releases. Named for an inlet in Mission Bay, Leisure Lagoon is Coronado’s first year-round hazy beer.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy golden with no head and no lace. The scent had bright ripe citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp light malt and bright slightly bitter ripe citrus. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation . Overall it is a good beer.

Solid beer. Good bang for the bucks with pints for a 12 ounce price. Coronado makes a great beer. I love Weekend Vibes first amongst their lineup and Never Better second. I’d put this up there as a close second. Easy to drink and good aftertaste.

16 oz. can poured into a pint glass. Pour is a hazy orange/lemon with a half inch of near white foam. Nose of muddled malt and some citrus hops, more floral and stone fruit with warming. Not overwhelming but there with the hops which give a balanced aroma.

Taste is spritzy up front with some juicy flavors in the middle and a light bitterness on the finish. Spritzy carbonation on the feel is dominant as well. Overall balanced and easy on the palate.

A: hazy; medium gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; very little lacing;

S: floral, with dankness and pineapple in the background;

T: follows the nose for a moment, then floral through the finish; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate, slightly prickly, carbonation; dry finish;

O: there are many better options of the style;

Just picked up a crowler of this on Friday, May 22nd, the day they were allowed to reopen for table dining service towards the later stage of the pandemic. A bit pricey at $10, but I'd imagine that's what two pints would cost if I was able to sit at the bar. Nothing too crazy here, just a consistent, tasty, slightly hazy APA. Has the hop profile, the malt bill, and the body/feel/finish that you want from a beer like this. Punches above its ABV% and price.
