I'm reviewing this from Coronado Brewing company. its served in a cold pint glass filled up by the beautiful ladies at the bar.
it sits perfectly golden/caramel complextion with an half inch white cloudy head. the smell reminds me if summer. malty with lots of citrus, spices, and peppers. if there is any hops in this the smell of its hidden.
upon tasting this brew I get exactly what I had smelled, lots of malty goodness mixed with some summer spices. not a lot of hops but enough to make their presence known.
this to me is a good example of what a summer brew should be. its has a solid flavor with out being really heavy. this is a perfect brew to enjoy on a beautiful day in San Diego.

poured from a growler into my arrogant bastard pint glass, an orange golden slightly hazy color to the body. The head is a creamy white froth that leaves thick lacing down the glass.
The smell is very hop forward, not in a bittering way but in a massive aroma hop addition way. It really reminds me of the islander IPA in it's floral qualities here. The hop scent is backed by a smooth creamy smelling malt smell and a tinge of citrus in the background.
The flavor profile of this brew is definitely not an "in your face" type. The hop qualities impart themselves in the flavor with a hint of citrus and springtime flowers, but in the flavor is where the malt shines as well as the fact that this is actually a lager style beer. It takes very cream-like and sweet, like a honey cream biscuit or scone. Great malt profile backs the hop addition which I enjoy in the mouthfeel.
The mouthfeel is so creamy and smooth it slides down and refreshes you without you even realizing how much your drinking and how fast. Makes it a great summery style brew that actually feels like you have some beer in your mouth while you imbibe (i.e. not "watery" at all).
Very drinkable, I like this quite a bit as a session brew for sure, and to be honest I usually don't enjoy lagers this much so that really is saying a lot!
