On-tap at Ale & Witch
A - It pours a medium mahogany-brown hue, neither radiant nor murky, and is capped with a decent swath of tan froth.
S - The nose is mellow; what I do pick up on are mild notes of roasted hazelnuts, charred graham cracker and plum fruitiness.
T - This reminds me of CCBs Maduro Brown, especially Generally I detect notes of roast, cocoa, toffee-caramel, as well as soft impressions of prune-plum-fig. The alcohol is slightly noticeable, but doesn't seem out of place.
M - The feel is nice; just a bit under medium-bodied, a good weight for the level of flavor intensity.
O - Just very easy drinking, solid brew, I could drink quite a bit of this.
