I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.

Appearance: medium golden hue with no haze and a light effervescence. Head is a thin layer of ivory foam. It’s OK.

Smell: corny right off the bat. Kind of normal for craft blonde ales, it seems, but I just can’t get behind it.

Taste: a bit corny, which is not unexpected for the style, with a light hop character and bitterness. Not a fantastic beer, but I can drink it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess. These NW Peaks guys know their texture, if not a whole lot else.

Overall: this is not the worst beer in the world, but from a craft standpoint, it’s not great.
