Consumed at brewery on Saturday, November 5th 2011.
Beer is a hazy medium amber with minimal head.
Aroma has a ruby red grapefruit note supported by a metallic flaw of some kind.
Flavor is off; I suspect an infection or very dirty lines. The beer is almost wince-inducingly sour and astringent with mineral water and metallic notes. There is no malt character, though a touch of the red grapefruit from the nose also appears. Bitter on the finish.
Mouthfeel is slightly thin and watery and the astringency leaves a dryness behind.
Do not order this beer as it is undrinkable.
