My visit to Crane Rive Brewpub & Cafe was on a Saturday around 3:30 in the afternoon. The place was dead. I had been to libraries that were more happening, anyway
The help was okay, our waiter could not shed any light on their beer selection but, at least, he did know what they served. The food portion of the menu had quite a few items on it, a nice selection fare at good prices. I went with the Bangers & Mash, it was good but not great (or authentic), Bluemooner had a blackened chicken sandwich; it was a tad spicy. The beer bread was good. This place is very large and it could accommodate quite a few people. The bar seems surprisingly small and oddly placed.
The beer selection was limited to their own products the four I tried were awful and not recommended. Thus is it possible for me to recommend this place to a follow BA? Id say no. Indeed the food was good, priced well, but, alas, the beer was bad. If the beer improves I will re-write this BeerFly review.
