This is the second Tavour exclusive beer I tried. The first on I drunk was not good at all. I was bummed out that I paid good money for this beer. The beer is 50 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour of the beer produced a two-fingered creamy and airy tan head. The beer's head has above average retention, leaving no lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is 34, a dark brown with reddish hues. Overall, the beer is okay.
The initial aroma of the beer is band-aides, bourbon, phenol, and char. Nosing the beer further, I smell molasses, nutty, chocolate, smoke, and earthiness. The beer does not smell glorious.
The initial taste of the beer is phenols, green vegetables, medicine, and char. Next, I taste, chocolate, nutty, smoke, figs, molasses, earthiness, and Maillard.
The mouthfeel of the beer is carbonated and creamy.
The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and medium finish.
The beer is awful. Something went wrong in the brewing process. Why they released this beer is beyond me. I dumped this beer down the drain.
