Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with an one to one and half finger stark white soapy head. The head recedes to skim but leaves gobs of lace up and down the glass. The aroma starts off with the a deep wet earthy hop aroma that is very strong and gives way to a light citrusy smell with a hint of a wine smell. The taste follows suit closely with the wet earthy hop taste starting out over a slight malty backbone. The earth hop then gives way to the sauvin and a white wine taste with just a hint of citrus. The mouthfeel is moderately carbonated and crisp. Overall it is a very enjoyable beer, the two hops are such a contrast that the end up going well together.
