Pours entirely hazy, with the beer having a peach pulp color and a spongy, medium sized head.
Smells incredibly fruity, mango papaya and ripe pineapple settle atop kiwi sorbet and chunks of lime pulp. Not even a crackery hint of malts is to be found here, the beer‘s nose displays an incredibly well nuanced fruit salad.
Has a light, soft mouthfeel with a sparkly finish to it.
Tastes of flour, oranges, big toffee malts and an unfitting, scratchy bitterness, not resulting from the hops but tasting like overripe, fermented fruits. Has a note of lime, which unfolds during the finish, without being able to develop a recognizable hop presence. Therefore the beer ends dull, with a jumbled up fruit appearance, the overripeness and water.
This has a beautiful nose but tastes like a mess. Nothing comes together here, neither does the beer taste particularly fruity, nor does it pack an opposing bitterness, its mainly dull and happy to call itself a new england ipa.
