pint at the brew pub 5/4/14 from notes
A light copper, almost clear, top filled glass but the thick film sits around for ages leaving partial rings deep down the glass
S pineapple, canned peaches, sweet orange, tangerine, a little melon, some soft caramel and pine, faint catty notes, smells solid
T more of the same but intensified, lemon and grapefruit rind, piney, super juicy, I'm loving this one, way stronger in the mouth and tastes super fresh, big improvement over the nose
M medium bodied, just enough bubbles to give it some life, big bitter kick and some fine grit on the gums, piney, rind lingers on the finish
O great single hop IPA, maybe I'm a little stuffed up and couldn't quite pick up everything the nose had to offer but it tastes awesome
Another winner from Mornington, quickly becoming my favorite brewery in OZ, worth the trip down the the peninsula for sure

Wow - a great beer!
beautifully balanced with passionfruit, melon, grapefruit, citrus and toffee all coming through the taste and aroma - makes you want to drink more.
overall - a great, balanced beer - one of the best Australian IPA's I have tried.

Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows herbal and spicy hops with a little mint too. Biscuity and bready malt underneath.
Very clean flavours. Quite herbal and spicy again, with a bit of the bready malt too. Finishes with an assertive bitterness and a little booze. Could use more malt.
