Rusted Rye has a thick, mousse-like, off-white head, a hazy, gold-orange appearance, with some bubbles and lots of gray yeast chunks, with heavy glass lacing. Aroma is of apricot, hop lacing, white bread, and pale malt. Taste is of those elements, with a noticeable, yet not harsh, rye spice. Bitterness is strong and building. Mouthfeel is medium and somewhat "gritty". Rusted Rye finishes medium dry and pleasant.

Pours hazy, orange-brown in color with gorgeous 3/4 inch head. Taste is dry rye bread, hints of orange, and grapefruit as well. Medium bodied with sweetish start and moderately bitter finish. Tasty rye forward beer. I have other IPAs I like more, but this one is very good.

Pours an effervescent orange/copper with 2+ fingers cream colored head. Above average head retention & lacing
S: Bready, some peppery notes
T: Follows the nose, a little caramel & pine as well up front . Nice breadyness, some toastyness & a little bit of grapefruit & pine as this warms. Finishes toasty, a little juicy with plenty of grapefruit & some dryness
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, nice balance
Drinkable, good take on the style

12 oz can. Pours bright clean copper, finger white head lasts, moderate broken lace. Not picking up much in the aroma other than some cracker malt and mild pepper. Nice tasting rye beer with fairly balanced malt and rye peppery taste. Grassy hops linger. Mouthfeel is where this brew shined for me, medium to full and very soft. I like rye brews and this is a solid one by Tin Roof.

A- True to the name, it pours a translucent and stunning rust red.
S- Malt, some floral hops, maybe just the most minute amount of rye.
T- Very surprised, the floral hops really come through on the palate. Again, not much rye but the hops make up for it. Very good.
M- Medium carbonation and body.
D- A really crushable and nicely balanced pale ale from Tin Roof. I also had this pretty fresh.

I'm in NW Louisiana, selections limited...quality reminds me of Bear republic (which I miss); It knows what it is....if you're here...
