Aroma is mild vanilla/white bread/malts and a hint of spicy/funky hops. The flavor is grainy/biscuit malts and a spicy/citrus/thick but not quite mild syrup sweet finish.

Getting back to those classic American IPA roots, Tin Roof steps away from those Patrick Hazy ways and strives to create a bitter bomb that'll rip your throat right out.
Road House IPA pours a hazier than usual shade of goldenrod and burnish orange before crowning with an ivory white froth. As the scent of over ripened fruit, peppery and almost smoky hops rise, the scent of hemp and grasses seem nearly patchouli-like. Sweeter once on the early palate, the impressions of shortcake, caramel and nuttiness come across softly graham cracker-like.
As the hop flavors roll across the middle palate, they mingle with the persistent cereal sweetness before rising with the taste of bruised fruits of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and pawpaw with a followup of peppery greens, herbal curiosities and a downright dank citrus taste. Trending moderately bitter, the late palate is earthy, dull and creamy to offset the resinous nature of hop bitterness.
Medium bodied, lumbering and a little dull overall, the 'dirty' hop profile and extra weight is a far cry from the IPA of the west coast. It finishes plush, rounded and malty-dry with an aftertaste of hemp and fruit peels.

Pours a bit darker copper in color than most. Also had some particulate. Nose was slightly citrusy. Taste was bready to me, not much citrus flavors. Decent beer.

Not as kick ass hop fest as I had hoped and it advertised. The smell gives you an idea that this is def a west coast, but the hops and bitterness lacks what it’s selling. Just proves that the best west coast IPAs are made in the west coast. I would recommend this beer for huge NEIPA fans that want to transit to this style of IPA.

I like this one. Not exceptional to look at, but a nice summer pasture nose that continues on to the palate and turns into a rich mouthfeel. The finish has a touch of lingering bitterness. That’s usually not my favorite, but it works here.

Road House has a medium, off-white head, an orange-gold bubbly appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of papaya, hop resin, and white bread crust. The taste is similar, with low-profile bitterness. Road House has a high-medium body and a fairly dry finish.

Initial gut reaction to my first taste from a 12 fl oz pull-tab can:
Underwhelming.
Drinks like a mediocre pale ale at best.
