Here at Tin Roof, we found ourselves asking, “How many hazy IPAs are too many?” The answer–The Limit Does Not Exist. As a nod to our lovable owners (who will absolutely ditch us for other breweries if we don’t have a Hazy Boy on draft), our brewers have concocted a new DIPA that is HEFTY…a whopping 4.4 lbs per barrel of Citra, Vic Secret, and Amarillo Hops course through the body of this brew creating a dense maze of citrus and pine. The Limit Does Not Exist DIPA is aromatically juicy and bright, with a pronounced hops profile and a persistent bite.

Why limit oneself with merely a single IPA, or two, or five, or... Tin Roof sees no limit as they chock this hazy hop bomb full with Citra, Vic Secret and Amarillo hops to take it to the limit one more time.
Bright and hazy, The Limit Does not Exist glows with a backlit foggy gaze while swooning the nose with citrus, tropical fruit and hints of stone fruit for a full and fruity bouquet. As its gentle sweetness provides a creamy coat of cereal, honey and shortcake, the initial impressions are sweeter and rounded.
Upon that foundation of grain, the hops layer upon the middle palate with a bold fruit cocktail of oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, passionfruit, pear and nectarines for a full hop flavor. As the grains dry a bit heading into finish, the late palate shows a patient transition of hops toward a slightly more spicy, peppery and bitter taste for balance and dryness.
Trailing into an herbal finish of fruit peels, tea, verbena and candied hemp, the ale finishes pepppery and lightly smoky with a medium long aftertaste of cereal and botanicals.

Aroma is sweet citrus, piney hops and a hint of syrup/toffee. The flavor is fruit/citrus, grains/malts and a mango juice, grapefruit hop/mildly sweet finish.

Color was not as vibrant as most Hazy/NE Style IPAs, pours a little darker color of copper. Nose was sweet, but nothing I could put my finger on. Taste was weak, especially as an imperial strength beer. Little disappointed on this offering from Tin Roof
