Again the style dilemma: it's an english golden ale, not really a bitter, or an english pale or an american blonde....
Brewed specially for recent Wetherspoons festival. I had just a third of a pint at the Counting House in Glasgow. It was a light gold colour with a standard 'spoons mottled head. There was little discernible aroma, just a slight acidic twang. It was sweeter to start than I had expected with a strange vinegary, ketchup like flavour that had me thinking (suitably enough) of seaside chips. That's not as disastrous as you might think in a beer, but it's no great shakes either. The feel was slightly syrupy.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
