On tap at Packinghouse Brewing Company in Riverside, CA.

Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and some slight grassy aromas. Taste is much the same with a grassy flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is solid and easy to drink.

Pours a golden...ever so cloudy colour with minimal head.

Smells a slight yeasty flavour with a slight bitterness from hops. Slight malty sweetness comes through.

Bitter, sour flavour at first...def doughy flavours...very slight malts

Mouthfeel was in keeping with the abv

Overall I would get this again...decent beer.

On-tap at Packinghouse

A: Pours a clear golden straw color with a fluffy white head and some spots of lacing.

S: Pale malts with a touch of white grape provide the sweetness. A bit of cooked grain and corn along with some floral and slightly grassy hops. A little bit of a straw aroma to it.

T: Much more bitter than I was expecting. Pale malts provide a bit of breadiness which is more enjoyable than the cooked grain and slight corn flavors. Floral and grassy hops are once again present.

M: Light to medium in body with a lively carbonation.

O: Better than most blonde ales out there, but still not an awesome beer. One of those beers most places make to keep the light lager crowd happy.

Sampled 4/2/2011 at the brewery.

Pours clear yellow, 3/4" bright white head, good retention and lacing.

Aroma is corn, grape, honey, malt and probably malt extract.

Flavor is slightly fruity, bread, corn, unfermented malt, and some bitterness. Nice but I'm not sure about the corn flavor (not sure there is actually corn in there).

Body is light and quite drinkable. Standard introduction to ales for lager drinkers.
