Sampled 5/21/2011 at the brewery.
Pours lightly hazy dark yellow with small white head, very little in the way of lacing or retention.
Aroma is sweet, slight orange, a hint of tangy oak, and maybe a little pine.
Flavor is very light on the oak, barely there. Actually the hop presence that was in this beer fresh is also barely there. I'm wondering if this is the same base batch I had a month or two ago. There is a fair amount of malt, some residual sweetness, a touch of fish food/old hops, and in the aftertaste some orange peel.
Body is light, pretty drinkable just not as fresh as it could/should be.
