355 cc bottle, dated best by 7/2020

Pours a clear dark amber color, thin head that fades. Some lacing. Rich malt aroma- caramel, toffee, a bit of raisin. Taste is similar, but not overly sweet. Medium to thick mouthfeel, lower carbonation appropriate for the style. Overall it hits the mark.

A: The beer is clear dark amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a color of off white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of raisins and other dark fruits are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is dominated by raisin-like flavors. No alcohol is perceptible.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and smooth on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked the aromas and flavors of raisins and dark fruits in this beer. It seemed easier to drink compared to most of the other beers in the style.

Light brown copper color with a thin beige head with short retention.
Predominant mild sweet aroma of molasses and toffee and hints of Port Wine and wood.
Flavor with notes of molasses, caramels, wood, cloves, some earthy hops, cherries, hints of Port wine, a bit of butter and cola. Smooth aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Light bordering medium body with mild carbonation. Alcohol of 7.5% is very well disguised, especially considering it doesn’t have an overly malty and potentially cloying body.
Quite pleasant and decent, its caramel malty body predominates but is well balanced by its earthy hops. It does follows the style, one that is rare in the region, so worth tasting it.
