Poured into a Council Belgian-style tulip
p- cloudy deep orange w/ a 1f foamy white head
n- med aroma of sweet orange and lactose sugar
t- wow- lots of flavor here; sweet juicy oranges, peaches, apricot, and lactose sugar; lightly toasted bready malt supports; super cohesive and quite tasty
mf- full-bodied w/ soft-med carb; satisfying
o- this really has exceeded my expectations, especially given its age; a super enjoyable dipa and a solid first impression of White Bluffs

Canned March 30th. Amber pour, slight hazy / un-filtered. Fluffy head, rich aroma of fruit comes up and dominates the nose. Taste is hoppy without any harsh bitterness, even on the finish. The stone / tropical fruit hop flavors carry through a moderately dry finish. Malt base is present, but hardly noticeable. All together, a well-constructed DIPA with plenty to go around. ABV is 8.2%.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a snifter.
Look- Deep gold, tan frothy head, hazy, no visible sediment, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Citrus, pineapple, pine resin, bready.
Taste- Bready, piney, citrus, highly pithy, sweet finish.
Feel- Between medium and full body, moderate bitterness, average carbonation, highly astringent, moderately creamy.
Overall- Much too pithy and bready for my palate.

Rather cloudy amber brew with piles of white foam in the IPA glass. Quite sudsy and lush on the tongue. Moderately sweet and also quite sharp. There is a super ripe honeydew melon taste that emerges for awhile. Then it's kind of muddy tasting for the finish. Really interesting but a little rough.
Hops are listed at Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Bravo. This tastes more like a fresh hop concoction with just too many hops. Leafy and stewed with a mildly astringent finish. Not overly bitter, for how hoppy it is, though. From the 16 oz can purchased at Whidbey Beer works.

Murky dark amber body, white head. Smell features pineapple, papaya, mango, and grapefruit pith and bitter hops to balance. Taste follows, grapefruit starts, tropical fruits plays the middle, and the bitter and somewhat resinous hops finish in a very satisfying way. Feel is thin up front, but the back end more than makes up for it. IDK if it is super, but was worth a try for sure

16oz can purchased at Nectar Wine and Beer, in Kendall Yards, Spokane, Washington, for $4.99. Canned on July 6, 2020, per the stamp on the bottom of the can.
In the glass, managed to be a muddy tangerine color, with a thin, beige head that dropped fast. Spotty lace.
Big nose of pineappley, tropical fruit-like hops, and a big, sweet maltiness.
Big tropical fruit flavor's up front, with undertones of pepper. Both of these get massively tossed aside by a huge blast of sweet, caramelly maltiness. Finishes with a sharp, piney bitterness.
Medium bodied, with a prickly, slightly oily mouthfeel.
Bits and pieces point to a fine beer, but things don't gel together all that well. A pity, as the standard NOG IPA is a fine beer, probably the best one brewed where I grew up. Perhaps the scramble to offload excess beer during Covid-19 (the Tri-Cities has been a hotspot and has been stuck at Stage 1.5 for months) led WB to start canning before they were ready, or maybe this upgunned version of NOG isn't quite ready for prime time.
