Taster flight at White Blluffs. Caramel colored pour, small off-white head. Malty aroma, sweet, nutty. Taste is toffee, malty, sweet. Smooth but a bit sweet for my tastes.

Creamy, off-white, head. Clear, deep orange, with chestnut highlights, for the appearance. Caramel like malt aroma, with a little bit of an allspice like aroma. Medium levels of medium heavy toasted and caramelized malt, with an easy little hop bite, of an allspice sort. The finish is a light caramel and woody one.

On tap at White Bluffs tasting room, 1.28.12. Conditioned for 7 weeks (!) with Tettinger and Perle hops.
Half finger off-white head, deep amber hazy, cloudy unfiltered body, small number of bubbles rising very slowly to surface. A bit of caramel malt in the nose balanced by slightly spicy hops. Taste is pretty sweet up front but not exceedingly so, caramel sweetness balanced by spicy, floral finish, some subtle bitterness on backend. Medium mouthfeel, quite dry finish. IMO this is a well made beer and highlights the brewer's commitment to his craft. Much more tasty than commercially available alts, Alaskan, Fat Tire, etc.
