From a can produced 7/6/22. Clear light amber color with a half inch of white foam. Fruity hop aroma. Medium body with some stickiness. Citrus and grassy hop flavors with some pine notes on the finish. Nice blend of hop flavors.

Pours a medium-dark gold and clear with a nice foamy head that retains well and super lacing. A bit thin and light looking but decent overall.
Citrus, grass, and floral aromas very present on the nose. Somewhat muddled, yet pleasant. Just a bit of tropical note in the background.
Light caramel malt sweetness on the tip of the tongue melds with very mild citrus pith bitterness. In midstream, lemongrass, herbal tea, and hints of white pepper arrive. The finish is both piney and earthy with only a hint of booze.
Remarkably light and drinkable for the style and ABV level.
A uniquely light delivery for a full-fledged, non-session IPA. Very drinkable, albeit a bit reserved.

Can from Bin 22. Trying this new (to me) brewery. Not impressed. Pretty generic throughout. Hazy golden body with slight head. Faint hoppy aroma leads to generic hoppy taste, kind of metallic. At least I got a new tick...

June 2019...bright gold with fluffy white foam. Light malty nose. Slightly fruity. Grapefruit hints, lemon too. Quick switch then into a traditional malt. Light bitter, but smooth.

You gotta enjoy the labels on some of these. “One sip of this IPA will bring you back to the night you went on a hot streak. Reveling in the glory of tropical fuits and western pine scents, this IPA is definitely worth the gamble. Its juicy mouthfeel and clean finish allow you to walk away on top.” Speaking for myself, a hot streak is better defined as an emergency roadside stop following a fantastic Diablo Burger from the now-closed Uncle Ed’s Steakhouse in Grand Island. Man, even the bun on that thing was spicy! The Hot Streak from Black Tooth takes on the usual attributes of an IPA. Hoppy and all, but this one does have the advantage of those glorious tropical fruits to sweeten the taste. I’m rather enjoying this as I drive down memory lane, recalling old road trips. All in all, a decent IPA. 2017/09/03
My elusive good IPA just might come from a can. I had one on Friday and one on Saturday, from the can into the glass, and both were excellent. The hops weren’t overpowering, and the flavor was good. I should pick up a sixer soon to enjoy some more. 2017/09/30
