Purchased off the shelf, again.
Pours a brown rusty red with a small head of foam that does not stay around long.
The whiskey is notable in the smell. Caramel malt, dried dark fruits, toffee, vanilla, some slight oxidation.
Wonderful malty in a lightly oxidized way taste. Whiskey steps back a bit vs the smell. Vanilla, dried pitted fruits, toffee, it certainly hasn't suffered vs fresh, imho.
Close to full bodied, carbonation fits like a glove.
More bottles are available as are cans of 2019. My favourite beer from Black Tooth.
