The Little Goose Fire of 2007 claimed much of Stumpy Ridge, turning the once majestic canyon the same color as this Black Ale. While unlikely to find the caramel, chocolate, and coffee flavors this beer imparts, one can only imagine this beer’s dry roast bitterness in the aftermath of such an event. Lift a glass and “toast” the brave men and women who battled and ultimately defeated this wildfire.
