No story of how the west was won is complete without a tale about The Wagon Box Fight that took place 15 miles from Sheridan outside Fort Phil Kearny, and no Brewery located in the heart of the West would be complete without a great Wheat Beer. This ale has hints of tropical fruit, and citrus flavors along with subtle yeast flavors and aroma.

The appearance was a slight glossy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some super light lacing sliding right on into the beer. The smell started off with a citrusy bite to lead into a sweet graininess. The taste was mainly the citrus in a sticky sweet sort of way. The graininess seemed to be the wheat kick that shows its face in the flavor. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was slightly subdued and decent for the style. Overall, decent wheat ale I think I could do again.

A couple of cans hand delivered since they aren't distributed to Casper yet.
A slightly hazy straw yellow colour, it was out of the fridge so there's a huge head of foam.
It smells of wheat with hints of some lemon. Very typical of the style.
It tastes of wheat with that bit of lemon citrus showing up and not letting the grain dominate too much.
Usual lightish body/mouthfeel.
Just another American Pale Wheat that is satisfying in its own way.
